Is the AI review required, or does the calculator work without it?+

The position size calculator, prop firm tracker, and drawdown log all work 100% without an API key or internet connection. The AI Risk Review is an optional feature that requires an Anthropic API key (~$0.01 per review). You can use all other tools offline.

Which pairs and instruments does it support?+

Built-in presets for EURUSD, GBPUSD, AUDUSD, NZDUSD, USDJPY, EURJPY, GBPJPY, XAUUSD (gold), XAGUSD (silver), US30 (Dow), NAS100, SPX500, and UK100. You can also type any custom pair — pip value is auto-detected based on instrument type.

Does the drawdown log save between sessions?+

The current version stores trades in memory during your browser session — closing the tab clears the log. This is intentional to keep the file simple and offline. For a persistent journal with session memory, check out our Trading Journal Pro.

Is this compatible with prop firms other than FTMO?+

Yes. The Prop Firm Tracker has an FTMO preset for convenience, but also includes a "Custom" mode where you can enter any account size, daily loss limit, and total drawdown limit. It works for any prop firm: Topstep, The Funded Trader, MyFundedFX, E8, and more.

How is lot size calculated — is it accurate?+

Yes. The formula used is: Lot Size = Dollar Risk ÷ (Pip Distance × Pip Value per Lot). Pip values are instrument-specific — XAUUSD, JPY pairs, and indices all use different pip sizes and values, which the calculator handles automatically based on the instrument selected.
